Patina has been treated to give depth to the design and intricacies of the sconce. The center shields also retains their original paint of blue and red. Cast aluminum. Adorned with many figural images on both the front surface of the sconce and the mounting plate, including The Pillars of Hercules, Lions, and Fleur de lei. All common themes of the "Romantic" Revival styles of the 1920s. Close up of the back plate shown in the last image showing it's imagery. The mica shade inserts are all original as well. The mica shades are held in place by four tiny screws. Casting is clean and sharp with obvious care taken to eliminate any casting lines.
